Got a fantastic concept but no clue how to turn it into a grant? Or you can turn your ideas into a grant, but you just can’t seem to nail down the proper language to make it stand out from the crowd. This is the right course for you.
Content
During this course you will practice writing or improving your own research proposal for an individual grant. You will have the opportunity to work on a grant proposal that you intend to submit (Rubicon, Veni, Marie Curie or other fellowship).
The teacher will give you feedback on your abstracts after day 1.
Program
Day 1:
- How to pitch your proposal
- How to structure your proposal
- How to improve your writing skills: tips to write a concise abstract and proposal
- Giving feedback on each other’s abstract
Day 2:
- How to write the knowledge utilization paragraph
- Why you: how to stress your qualities in your proposal
- Specific tips about how to write your CV
- Specific tips about how to complete the Veni form (and ERC form if people go for an ERC)
- How to create an eye-catching title for your proposal
