What will the board do?
Together, the board will help:
- define what the sub-theme LUMC Center for Health and Ageing stands for (mission and societal challenges)
- map key research topics and connect researchers to these topics
- help position the sub-theme within broader LUMC priorities
- organize activities for the community (currently already organised: LUMC Center for Health and Ageing Science Meeting, LUMC Center for Health and Ageing writing retreat)
- support communication of successes and opportunities (through the website and socials)
Practical
- Board size: minimum 4 members (we aim for 4-6); each member will have a designated task (such as responsibility for activities, communication or strategy)
- Term: 1-2 years (with possible extension up to 2 more years)
