We are excited to invite all PhD students involved in the LEGend research theme—Lifecourse Epidemiology and Geroscience—to participate in this symposium, which will take place on January 27th, 2025, from 13:00 to 17:00, followed by a borrel (informal drinks) to close the day. The PhD day will take place at the Academiegebouw. Supervisors are also welcome!

The LEGend PhD Day is a unique opportunity to connect with fellow PhD students and showcase your work. This year, we are offering LEGend PhDs the chance to present their research in an 5-10 minute pitch, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Besides pitches there will be activities and opportunities to engage with your fellow PhDs and foster collaborations. Deadline for signing up to the pitch is 1st of December 2024.

Best presentation wins a prize!

Participation in the event is free, and additionally you will receive an educational certificate. Please spread this invitation around in your network!

This day is dedicated to PhD students, and we are eager to hear your thoughts and ideas. There will be an opportunity to leave comments or suggestions at the end of the form, so feel free to share any input. Suggestions from supervisors are of course welcome too!
