Register for the LEGend PhD Day, January 27th, 2025!

We are excited to invite all PhD students and other researchers interested in the LEGend research theme to participate in this symposium!. It will take place on January 27th, 2025, from 13:00 to 17:00, followed by a borrel (informal drinks with plenty of snacks) to close the day. The PhD day will take place at the Academiegebouw in Leiden.

The LEGend PhD Day is a unique opportunity to connect with PhD students and other researchers focusing on lifecourse and aging research, or: from womb to wrinkles! LEGend PhDs will show their research in 8-minute talks followed by a Q&A session with the audience or in a 4-minute pitch format. There will be also be an activity to get to know each other, prizes, and plenty of drinks and snacks afterwards!

A diverse range of topics await you, as the talks and pitches will range from fetal twin growth restrictions and hemolytic diseases, to childhood experiences and trauma, to cancer and hip fractures in older patients, and so much more!
